White Stadium is the Spring Training home of the New York Mets and the home of the St. Lucie Mets minor league baseball team.
Tradition is conveniently located just 40 minutes north of the Palm Beaches and just a few miles south of the junction of I-95 and Florida’s Turnpike. There’s plenty of dining and shopping nearby plus the sparkling beaches of St. Lucie County. Water plays a significant role in Tradition, too, as you’ll see by the town’s master plan. Along with lots of winding paths for walking, jogging and biking, there are tranquil waterways throughout. Doesn’t this sound like your kind of town?
In 1988, the New York Mets moved their spring training home to St. Lucie West. As the area has grown and prospered, the Mets have become a local tradition. In 2003 the Town of Tradition was founded just four miles from the Mets’ spring training complex. The New York Mets’ announcement that they have extended their lease in Port St. Lucie until at least 2018.
